Our AMG pocket umbrella is available in black and white and offers reliable protection on rainy days. The pocket umbrella is made of lightweight aluminum, steel and polyester, making it extremely handy. The SL of the 230 series impressed the automotive world in 2001 when it was presented to the Hamburg press for the first time in the Deichtorhallen. Thanks to the then unique combination of state-of-the-art electronic chassis systems, it offered an outstanding driving experience that focused on maximum driving safety. Its design united tradition and future through striking details, such as the narrow, wing-like profiles on the side air openings, the horizontally elongated radiator grille and the muscular-looking fenders. Unlike its predecessors, the SL R 230 always carried its fixed roof with it. The integration of the vario-roof also made the body a special highlight, which could be opened or closed at the touch of a button in just 16 seconds.
