Positioning the baby against the direction of travel ensures optimum support for the head, neck and back, both during the journey and in the event of an accident. Mercedes-Benz recommends using the Baby-Safe III together with the Flex Base 5z for easy, ergonomic installation and maximum safety. The padding used also relieves the particularly sensitive areas of the infant. Mercedes-Benz regularly carries out extensive crash tests to check the restraint properties and quality of the child seat program, which is specially designed for Mercedes-Benz vehicles. The transition from car to baby carriage is very easy thanks to the compatibility of the Mercedes-Benz BABY-SAFE 3 i-SIZE with all Britax baby carriages and many other common baby carriages (using an adapter).
