Whether for short or long journeys, the safety of the youngest passengers should always be the top priority. Specially developed and tested for Mercedes-Benz cars, the KIDFIX M i-SIZE has numerous safety features designed to minimize the impact on the child in the event of an accident. The child seat is equipped with large, softly padded side bolsters for additional side protection as well as a rigid seat base, a stable belt guide and a particularly robust headrest attachment. This headrest offers additional protection, especially for older children who are already secured with the 3-point vehicle belt. The ergonomic headrest also offers comfort when sleeping during the journey. Another advantage is that the child seat grows with the child and can be used from around 3.5 to 12 years (approval according to R129 for children from 100 to 150 cm, 15 to 36 kg body weight), as the belt guide and headrest can always be adjusted to the correct position for the child's height. The V-shaped backrest of the KIDFIX M i-SIZE can be continuously adjusted to the inclination of the vehicle seat to ensure a comfortable seating position. The forward-facing seat facilitates safe and error-free installation and removal thanks to its standard ISOFIX locking arms. If these are not already integrated in the vehicle, the standard insertion aids can be used for support. The ISOFIT system ensures a secure connection between the vehicle and child seat even when the seat is unoccupied. The KIDFIX M-iSIZE has even been designed so that it can be used in Mercedes-Benz cars equipped with a beltbag. If necessary, the backrest of the seat can be removed to use it as a booster seat.
