Each wheel design is subjected to a rigorous development and testing program that exceeds all legal requirements. This includes endurance tests that simulate real traffic situations, as well as examinations of the materials in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities. Polished wheels are additionally tested with salt-corrosive spray mist and a 28-day climate change program. Only after all tests have been successfully passed may the wheels be added to the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheels. All wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
