All wheels are precisely matched to the respective vehicle in terms of load capacity and dimensions. Before the alloy wheels can be considered a safe companion on all journeys, they undergo a comprehensive development and testing process. Each wheel design must pass a series of stringent endurance tests in accordance with the high Mercedes-Benz standards, which exceed all legal requirements. This includes special test procedures that replicate real-life challenges in road traffic, as well as material tests using state-of-the-art X-ray equipment.

Gloss-turned wheels must pass additional tests, such as highly corrosive salt spray tests or a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been successfully completed can the wheels be included in the product range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels.

AMG light-alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
