AMG alloy wheels not only give the vehicle an attractive appearance, but also ensure maximum safety.

Each wheel is precisely matched to the load and dimensions of the vehicle. Before the alloy wheels can become a safe companion on every journey, they have to undergo a comprehensive development and testing program. Each wheel design must pass a large number of hardness tests, which are carried out in accordance with strict Mercedes-Benz guidelines and far exceed the legal requirements. These include special test methods that simulate realistic road traffic situations, as well as material tests in state-of-the-art X-ray machines.

Gloss-turned wheels must pass additional tests, including highly corrosive salt spray tests and a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been passed may the wheels be included in the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels.

AMG light-alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
