All wheels are precisely matched to the respective vehicle in terms of load capacity and size. Before the alloy wheels are approved as reliable companions for all journeys, they have to undergo an extensive development and testing program. Each wheel design must pass a large number of endurance tests in accordance with strict Mercedes-Benz specifications that exceed all legal requirements. This includes special test procedures that mimic real road traffic conditions, as well as material tests in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities.

Gloss-turned wheels must withstand additional tests such as highly corrosive salt spray or a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been successfully completed may the wheels be included in the product range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels.
