Experience a new dimension of Internet and telephony with the Mercedes-Benz telephone module with Bluetooth® (SAP¹). This module allows you to make phone calls, use online functions and receive text messages at the same time. Thanks to the integrated UMTS module and direct connection to the vehicle's external aerial, a fast, stable and secure connection is guaranteed. The module is compatible with multimedia systems from generation NTG4.5. From NTG5 COMAND Online, you even get high-speed Internet via USB tethering: up to seven times faster connection speeds compared to Bluetooth® connections! The telephone module can be used both as a fixed telephone and as a data modem. Thanks to the gateway functionality of the module, you can make parallel calls and benefit from convenience telephony (code 386) or car telephony (code 379). This includes convenient operation via your multimedia system, hands-free calling using your personal contact data on the SIM card of your cell phone and much more. In addition, your cell phone is supplied with power via the USB port if required.
