The Smart Home charging station is a permanently installed charging unit designed for both private and commercial use. It enables electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles to be charged quickly and safely. With a maximum charging capacity of 22 kW, it offers a considerably faster and more convenient charging option than a conventional socket. Access is controlled via a key switch and the wallbox has extensive safety functions to ensure reliable charging of your Mercedes-Benz vehicle. The permanently installed charging cable has a length of around 6 meters.

Technical details:
- An integrated LED light indicates the status of the wallbox
- The IP55 protection class enables outdoor and indoor use
- The charging power is adjustable (10 to 32A, at 230V single-phase up to 7,2kW and three-phase up to 22kW)
- A DC residual current sensor and a type A residual current circuit breaker are integrated
- Overheating is prevented by a temperature management system
- There is a storage compartment for the permanently installed charging cable on the housing and a holder for the charging plug
- Thanks to the standardization of the wallbox's charging plug, all current and future models of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles from Daimler AG as well as electrified vehicles from other manufacturers can be charged.
