The wheels not only offer a unique design, they are also equipped with the highest safety standards. Each wheel is tested through an extensive development and testing program, with which the Mercedes-Benz guidelines go beyond the legal requirements. Special test procedures simulate real-life challenges in road traffic and the materials are examined in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities. Polished wheels are subjected to additional tests such as highly corrosive salt spray and a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been passed are the wheels approved as genuine Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheels. All wheels are supplied without tires, hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
