Product information "Model car: 300 SL Coupé (1954-1963) W 198, B66040695"

A vehicle for enthusiasts that has not lost its charm to this day: With the iconic gullwing coupé, Mercedes-Benz presented the first pure sports car with the three-pointed star in 1954. By May 1957, 1,400 units had been produced in Sindelfingen, including 29 with a light-alloy body and one experimental vehicle with a plastic body. The miniature model of the 300 SL is a true-to-detail replica and will make collectors' hearts beat faster. The hand-assembled model not only impresses with its authentic paintwork, but also with the accurate representation of all interior details. The doors, hood and trunk of the model car can be opened and allow a view inside the vehicle. The model car is supplied in Mercedes-Benz Classic packaging, which includes a screwdriver for easy removal as well as a glove to protect against fingerprints on the windows or the painted body.
