Whether for the daily journey to nursery or a trip on vacation, the Mercedes-Benz Dualfix 3 i-Size child seat offers a safe and comfortable ride for small children from birth to the age of 4 (approved according to GB 27887-2011 for children from 40 to 105 cm and up to 18 kg body weight). This seat not only offers six adjustable recline positions for a comfortable journey, but also leaves nothing to be desired in terms of safety. The built-in base ensures easy installation with optimum safety, as does the intelligent, adjustable support leg, which gives the base additional stability over the vehicle floor. With the ISOFIX locking system, the ISOFIX locking arms can be easily attached to the ISOFIX anchorages in the vehicle. Thanks to the swivel function, you can use the seat both rearward-facing (for a body height of 40-105 cm) and forward-facing (for a body height of 76-105 cm). The rearward-facing transport offers particularly good support for the toddler's head, neck and back, even in the event of an accident. However, the 360° rotation function is not just for safety, it also makes it easy to get the child in and out of the DUALFIX 3 i-Size. In the event of a collision, soft, padded side bolsters offer additional protection, while the V-shaped headrest limits the movements of the child's head and provides optimum protection for the neck. Whether you are traveling short or long distances, the safety of your little passengers should always come first. For this reason, the KIDFIX M i-SIZE, which has been specially designed and tested for Mercedes-Benz cars, is equipped with a variety of safety features to minimize the impact on the child in the event of an accident. The child seat has large, softly padded side bolsters for additional side protection, a rigid seat base, a stable belt guide and a particularly robust headrest attachment. These features offer additional safety, especially for older children who are already secured with a 3-point vehicle belt. In addition, the ergonomic headrest offers comfort when sleeping while driving. The seat can be used between approx. 3.5 and 12 years of age (approval according to R129 for children from 100 to 150 cm, 15 to 36 kg body weight), as the belt guide and headrest can be adjusted to the child's height. The V-shaped backrest of the KIDFIX M i-SIZE can be continuously adjusted to the angle of the vehicle seat to ensure a comfortable sitting position. The seat is forward-facing and has ISOFIX locking arms as standard, which facilitate safe and error-free installation and removal. The ISOFIT system ensures a secure connection between the vehicle and child seat even when the seat is unoccupied. The KIDFIX M-iSIZE is even suitable for use in Mercedes-Benz cars with a beltbag. If required, the backrest of the seat can be removed to use it as a booster seat. The child seat is made of high-quality, soft and padded materials, which can be removed and washed if necessary.
