Each wheel is precisely matched to the respective vehicle in terms of load capacity and size. Before the alloy wheels can prove themselves as reliable companions on every journey, they have to undergo a comprehensive development and testing process. Each wheel design has to pass a large number of endurance tests, which are carried out according to strict Mercedes-Benz standards and exceed the legal requirements. This includes special test procedures that simulate real road traffic conditions, as well as material tests in state-of-the-art X-ray machines.

Gloss-turned wheels must pass additional tests, such as highly corrosive salt spray tests or a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been successfully passed are the wheels included in the product range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels.

AMG light-alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
