Each wheel is precisely matched to the respective vehicle in terms of its load-bearing capacity and dimensions. Before being approved as a reliable companion on every journey, the alloy wheels undergo a comprehensive development and testing program. All wheel designs must pass a series of stringent endurance tests in accordance with the strict Mercedes-Benz guidelines, which exceed the legal requirements. These include special test procedures that simulate realistic road traffic situations, as well as material tests in state-of-the-art X-ray machines.

Gloss-turned wheels must pass additional tests, such as highly corrosive salt spray or a 28-day climate change program. Only after all tests have been successfully completed may the wheels be included in the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheels.

AMG light alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
