AMG light-alloy wheels not only improve the appearance of the vehicle, but also ensure maximum safety. Before being included in the range, each wheel design is subjected to a strict development and testing program that exceeds all legal requirements. This includes endurance tests that simulate real challenges in road traffic, as well as examinations of the materials in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities. Polished wheels must also pass highly corrosive salt spray tests and a 28-day climate change program. Only after all tests have been passed are the wheels delivered as genuine Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheels. These come without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
