Each wheel design must pass a wide range of endurance tests in accordance with strict Mercedes-Benz guidelines, including special test procedures that simulate real-life challenges in road traffic and examinations of the materials in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities. Bright-turned wheels are additionally tested for highly corrosive salt spray and a 28-day climate change program before they are added to the range as an original Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheel. The scope of delivery includes the light-alloy wheels without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
