Each wheel is precisely matched to the vehicle in terms of its load capacity and size. Each wheel design has to pass a series of demanding tests in accordance with the strict Mercedes-Benz standards, which exceed the legal requirements. These include special test methods that simulate real-life situations in road traffic, as well as material tests in state-of-the-art X-ray machines.
Gloss-turned wheels must pass additional tests, such as highly corrosive salt spray tests or a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been successfully passed may the wheels be included in the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels.
AMG light-alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
