AMG light-alloy wheels not only contribute to the aesthetic enhancement of the vehicle, but also ensure maximum safety.

Each wheel is precisely tailored to the vehicle in terms of its load-bearing capacity and dimensions. Before the alloy wheels can prove themselves as safe companions on every journey, they have to undergo a comprehensive development and testing process. Each wheel design must pass a series of stringent endurance tests in accordance with the strict Mercedes-Benz standards, which far exceed the legal requirements. This includes special test procedures that simulate real road traffic conditions, as well as material tests in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities.

Gloss-turned wheels must undergo additional tests, such as highly corrosive salt spray tests or a 28-day climate change program. Only after all tests have been successfully passed may the wheels be included in the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels.

AMG light-alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
