AMG light-alloy wheels are unique and offer not only an improved appearance, but also the highest safety standards. Each wheel is carefully matched to the vehicle and must undergo an extensive development and testing program in order to meet the strict Mercedes-Benz guidelines. This includes endurance tests that go beyond the legal requirements, as well as test procedures that simulate real challenges in road traffic. Polished wheels are additionally subjected to a series of tests, including a 28-day climate change program and a highly corrosive salt spray. Only after all tests have been passed may the wheels be added to the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheels. These wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
