AMG light-alloy wheels not only give the vehicle a more attractive appearance, but also ensure maximum safety.

Each wheel is perfectly matched to the respective vehicle in terms of its load capacity and size. However, before the alloy wheels can become reliable companions on every journey, they have to undergo a comprehensive development and testing program. Each wheel design has to pass a large number of endurance tests in accordance with strict Mercedes-Benz standards, all of which go beyond the legal requirements. These include special test procedures that simulate real road traffic conditions, as well as material tests in state-of-the-art X-ray equipment.

Gloss-turned wheels must pass additional tests, such as highly corrosive salt spray tests or a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been successfully passed may the wheels be included in the product range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels.

AMG light-alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
