Each wheel is precisely matched to the respective vehicle in terms of load capacity and size. Before the alloy wheels can be considered reliable companions on every journey, they have to undergo an extensive development and testing program. Each wheel model has to pass a series of stringent tests in accordance with the strict Mercedes-Benz standards, which far exceed the legal requirements. These include special test procedures that replicate real road traffic conditions, as well as material tests in state-of-the-art X-ray machines.

Gloss-turned wheels must pass additional tests, such as highly corrosive salt spray tests or a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been successfully passed can the wheels be included in the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheels.

AMG light alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
