Each individual wheel is precisely matched to the respective vehicle in terms of load capacity and size. Before the alloy wheels are approved as reliable companions on all your journeys, they undergo a comprehensive development and testing process. All wheel designs must pass stringent hardness tests in accordance with Mercedes-Benz regulations, which far exceed the legal requirements. These include special test methods that mimic real road traffic situations, as well as material tests in state-of-the-art X-ray machines.

Highly polished wheels have to pass additional tests, including highly corrosive salt spray tests and a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been successfully passed may the wheels be included in the product portfolio as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels.

AMG light-alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
