These wheels are precisely matched to the load and dimensions of the vehicle. Before they can prove themselves as safe companions on every journey, they have to undergo an extensive development and testing program. Each wheel design must pass a series of stringent endurance tests in accordance with the strict Mercedes-Benz standards, which far exceed the legal requirements. These include special tests that simulate real road traffic conditions, as well as material tests in state-of-the-art X-ray machines.

Gloss-turned wheels must pass additional tests, such as highly corrosive salt spray tests or a 28-day climate change program. Only after all tests have been passed can the wheels be included in the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheels.

AMG light alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
