AMG forged wheels not only improve the appearance of the vehicle, but also ensure maximum safety.

Each wheel is precisely matched to the respective vehicle in terms of its load capacity and dimensions. Before the forged wheels can be approved as a safe companion on all journeys, they must undergo a comprehensive development and testing process. Each wheel design must pass a large number of endurance tests in accordance with strict Mercedes-Benz standards, all of which exceed the legal requirements. These include special test procedures that simulate real road traffic conditions, as well as material tests in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities.

High-gloss turned or polished wheels must pass additional tests such as highly corrosive salt spray or a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been successfully completed may the wheels be included in the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz forged wheels.

AMG forged wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
