AMG forged wheels not only give the vehicle a more attractive appearance, but also ensure the highest safety standards.

Each wheel is precisely matched to the vehicle in terms of its load capacity and size. Before the forged wheels can prove to be a reliable companion on all journeys, they undergo a comprehensive development and testing program. Each wheel model has to pass a large number of endurance tests in accordance with the strict Mercedes-Benz guidelines, all of which exceed the legal requirements. These include special test procedures that simulate real road traffic situations, as well as material tests in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities.

High-gloss turned or polished wheels must withstand additional tests such as highly corrosive salt spray tests or a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been successfully completed may the wheels be included in the product range as original Mercedes-Benz forged wheels.

AMG forged wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
