All wheel models have to pass various endurance tests, which are carried out in accordance with strict Mercedes-Benz standards and exceed all legal requirements. These include special test procedures that simulate real road traffic conditions, as well as material tests in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities.
High-gloss turned or polished wheels must pass additional tests, such as highly corrosive salt spray or a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been successfully completed can the wheels be added to the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz forged wheels.
AMG forged wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
