AMG forged wheels not only improve the appearance of the vehicle, but also ensure maximum safety.

Each wheel is precisely matched to the vehicle in terms of load and size. Before the forged wheels can become reliable companions on every journey, they have to undergo an extensive development and testing program. Each wheel design has to pass numerous endurance tests in accordance with the strict Mercedes-Benz regulations, all of which exceed the legal requirements. These include special test methods that mimic real-life challenges in road traffic, as well as material tests in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities.

High-gloss turned or polished wheels must withstand additional tests, such as highly corrosive salt spray or a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been successfully completed may the wheels be included in the product range as genuine Mercedes-Benz forged wheels.

AMG forged wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
