Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels are specially adapted to the vehicle to ensure both an attractive design and maximum safety. Each wheel design is subjected to an extensive development and testing program that goes beyond the legal requirements. This includes endurance tests, real road traffic simulations and examinations of the materials in modern X-ray facilities. Bright-turned wheels are also subjected to a corrosive salt spray and a 28-day climate change program. Only after passing these tests can the wheels be launched on the market as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels. The scope of delivery includes the wheels without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
