Each wheel is precisely matched to the respective vehicle in terms of load capacity and size. Before the alloy wheels can be considered reliable companions for all journeys, they have to undergo a comprehensive development and testing process. Each wheel design has to pass a series of endurance tests in accordance with strict Mercedes-Benz standards, which far exceed the legal requirements. These include special test procedures that simulate realistic road traffic conditions, as well as material tests in state-of-the-art X-ray machines.

Highly polished wheels must pass additional tests such as highly corrosive salt spray or a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been successfully completed can the wheels be included in the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheels.

AMG light alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
