To ensure that the wheels meet all requirements, they are subjected to an extensive development and testing program. This includes endurance tests in accordance with strict Mercedes-Benz guidelines and special test procedures that simulate real challenges in road traffic. Polished wheels must also withstand highly corrosive salt spray and a 28-day climate change program. Only after all tests have been passed are they offered as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels.
