Each wheel is precisely matched to the vehicle in terms of its load capacity and size. Before the alloy wheels can be considered a reliable partner on every journey, they undergo a comprehensive development and testing process. Each wheel has to pass a series of stringent endurance tests in accordance with the strict Mercedes-Benz regulations, which far exceed the legal requirements. These include special test procedures that simulate real road traffic conditions and material tests in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities.

Gloss-turned wheels must pass additional tests, such as highly corrosive salt spray tests or a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been passed may the wheels be included in the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels.

AMG light-alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
