Each wheel is precisely tailored to the respective vehicle in terms of its load capacity and dimensions. The light alloy wheels undergo an extensive development and testing process before they can prove themselves as reliable companions on all journeys. Each wheel model has to pass a wide range of endurance tests in accordance with the strict Mercedes-Benz guidelines, which far exceed the legal requirements. These include special test methods that simulate realistic road traffic conditions as well as material tests in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities.

Gloss-turned wheels have to withstand additional tests, such as highly corrosive salt spray or a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been successfully completed are the wheels designated as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels and added to the range.

AMG light-alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel fasteners.
