All wheels are perfectly matched to the load and dimensions of the vehicle. Before they can become a safe companion on every tour, they have to undergo an extensive development and testing program. Each wheel design must pass a series of rigorous endurance tests in accordance with strict Mercedes-Benz standards, all of which exceed the legal requirements. This includes special test procedures that simulate real road traffic conditions, as well as material testing in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities.

Gloss-turned wheels must pass additional tests, such as highly corrosive salt spray tests or a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been passed may the wheels be included in the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheels.

AMG light alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
