All wheels are precisely tailored to the vehicle in terms of their load capacity and dimensions. Each wheel has to pass a large number of endurance tests, which are carried out in accordance with strict Mercedes-Benz standards and exceed the legal requirements. These include special test methods that simulate real road traffic conditions, as well as material tests in state-of-the-art X-ray machines.
Gloss-turned wheels must withstand additional tests such as highly corrosive salt spray or a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been successfully completed may the wheels be included in the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels.
AMG light-alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
