This includes tough tests that go beyond the legal requirements, including simulations of real-life road challenges and examination of the materials in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities. Bright-turned wheels must pass additional tests such as corrosive salt spray or a climate change program over 28 days before they are included in the range as an original Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheel. The scope of delivery includes the light-alloy wheels without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
