Each wheel design has to pass various endurance tests, which are carried out in accordance with strict Mercedes-Benz standards and far exceed the legal requirements. These include special test procedures that simulate real road traffic conditions, as well as material tests in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities.
Gloss-turned wheels must pass additional tests such as highly corrosive salt spray or a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been successfully passed may the wheels be included in the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheels.
AMG light alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
