All wheels are precisely matched to the respective vehicle in terms of their load capacity and size. Before they are approved as safe companions on every journey, the alloy wheels have to undergo an extensive development and testing program. Each wheel design must pass a series of stringent endurance tests in accordance with Mercedes-Benz guidelines, which far exceed the legal requirements. These include special test procedures that simulate real-life challenges in road traffic, as well as material tests in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities.

Gloss-turned wheels must withstand additional tests, such as highly corrosive salt spray or a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been successfully passed can the wheels be added to the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheels.

AMG light alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
