Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels not only ensure a stylish appearance, but also offer maximum safety. To ensure this, all wheels undergo an extensive development and testing program. Each design has to pass the toughest tests in accordance with Mercedes-Benz guidelines, which exceed the legal requirements. This includes special test procedures that simulate real challenges in road traffic as well as examinations of the materials in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities. Polished wheels must also pass highly corrosive salt spray and a 28-day climate change program. Only after all tests have been successfully completed are the light-alloy wheels added to the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz wheels. The scope of delivery includes the wheels without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks. These parts can be purchased separately in the store or ordered as a complete wheel.
