However, before the alloy wheels can become a safe companion on all your journeys, they have to undergo a comprehensive development and testing program. Each wheel design has to pass a large number of endurance tests, which are carried out in accordance with strict Mercedes-Benz regulations and exceed all legal requirements. This includes special test procedures that simulate real road traffic conditions, as well as material testing in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities.

Gloss-turned wheels must pass additional tests, such as highly corrosive salt spray tests or a 28-day climate change program. Only after all tests have been successfully completed can the wheels be included in the product range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels.

Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
