All wheels are perfectly matched to the load and dimensions of the vehicle. Before they can become a safe companion on every journey, the light alloy wheels have to undergo an extensive development and testing process. Each wheel design has to pass a large number of endurance tests, which are carried out in accordance with strict Mercedes-Benz guidelines and far exceed the legal requirements. These include special test methods that simulate real road traffic conditions, as well as material tests in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities.

Gloss-turned wheels must pass additional tests such as highly corrosive salt spray or a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been successfully passed may the wheels be included in the product range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheels.

Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
