Every wheel design is meticulously tested for load and dimensions according to strict Mercedes-Benz guidelines. This includes tests that simulate real traffic situations and material tests in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities. For bright-finished wheels, additional tests such as a corrosive salt spray or a 28-day climate change program are carried out. Only when all tests have been passed may the wheels be included in the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheels. These are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
