Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels are more than just an eye-catcher. They offer maximum safety and are precisely matched to the vehicle. Each wheel must undergo an extensive development and testing program in order to meet all Mercedes-Benz guidelines. This includes endurance tests that exceed the legal requirements, as well as special test procedures that simulate real challenges in road traffic. In addition, polished wheels are subjected to a series of tests, including highly corrosive salt spray and a 28-day climate change program. Only after all tests have been passed are the wheels added to the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels. They are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
