Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels are not only a feast for the eyes, they also offer maximum safety. To ensure that the wheels meet all requirements, they undergo an extensive development and testing program. This includes tests that mimic real road conditions and examination of the materials in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities. Bright-turned alloy wheels must also withstand highly corrosive salt spray and a 28-day climate change program. Only after all the tests have been passed are the wheels added to the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels. The wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
