These tests include load and dimensions, hardness tests, simulations of real-life challenges in road traffic and examinations of the materials in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities. Polished wheels are also subjected to a series of tests, including corrosive salt spray and a 28-day climate change program. Only after all tests have been passed may the wheels be added to the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels.
