Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels are more than just a visual highlight: they offer maximum safety. Each design is subjected to stringent tests that go beyond the legal requirements and are precisely tailored to the respective vehicle. These include tough endurance tests, real road traffic simulations and material testing in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities. Polished wheels undergo additional tests such as a 28-day climate change program and a highly corrosive salt spray test. Only after successfully passing these tests is a Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheel added to the range as an original. These come without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
