Each wheel is perfectly matched to the vehicle in terms of load capacity and size. Before the alloy wheels can be approved as a reliable companion on all your journeys, they have to undergo an extensive development and testing program. Each wheel design has to pass a large number of endurance tests in accordance with strict Mercedes-Benz standards, all of which exceed the legal requirements. These include special test procedures that simulate real-life challenges in road traffic, as well as examinations of the materials in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities.

Polished wheels must pass additional tests, such as highly corrosive salt spray or a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been successfully completed can the wheels be included in the product range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels.

Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
