The wheels are specially adapted to the respective vehicle and offer maximum safety. Each design must undergo a strict development and testing program that exceeds all legal requirements. This includes endurance tests that simulate real-life challenges in road traffic, as well as examinations of the materials in modern X-ray facilities. Bright-turned wheels are also subjected to a highly corrosive salt spray and a 28-day climate change program before they are included in the range as an original Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheel. Each wheel is supplied without tires, hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
